Sacred 3 announced for PC and Consoles - Gamescom

Gamescom- The Sacred series continues, with fans being asked to remain patient. Koch Media did not reveal too much regarding the release of Sacred 3. Koch Media CEO Klemens Kundratitz once again mentionned the commitment to Sacred 3 briefly during a press conference. Sacred 3 will be released for both console and Windows PC. The action RPG Sacred 2 has already appeared for Windows and Xbox 360. The release date by Deep Silver has not yet been given, other than to expect nothing earlier than 2011/2012.

Deep Silver has announced work on Sacred 3, and here is their letter:
"Dear Sacred Fans,
We've now started to work on Sacred 3. The first priority is to collect ideas for the game concept and to decide in which direction the new Sacred should go.
Why do we tell you this? Because we'd like to listen to your ideas, wishes and suggestions!
You, as long-lasting fans and players of Sacred, are really important to us. For that reason, we'd like to give you a chance to submit your ideas, suggestions and general feedback in the Deep Silver Sacred 3 forum.
What expectations do you have for the 3rd saga?
The ideas and feedback will be collected from Deep Silver employees. After that, we'll see which of your ideas and suggestions we can take over to the development team.

Deep Silver - Takes Over Sacred Brand, Announces Sacred 3

Deep Silver's mother company Koch Media announced at their GC press conference that they've purchased the Sacred brand out of Ascaron's ashes. Sacred 3 is already in the works. This is no surprise for our readers, but now we have the official confirmation.
